We are looking for dedicated individuals to join the Board of Rural Housing Association. As a board member, you will play a vital role in shaping our work to provide quality, social homes and strengthen rural communities.

Rural Housing Association is a not-for-profit organisation committed to meeting local housing needs. We develop and manage homes in rural areas, ensuring they remain affordable and accessible for local people.

Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from individuals with a range of skills and backgrounds, particularly those with experience in:
- Housing or property management
- Finance or governance
- Community development
- Legal or regulatory compliance
- Rural affairs or planning
Passion and commitment to our mission are as important as professional expertise.
What’s Involved
- Attend approximately 5 online board meetings per year (usually bi-monthly with a summer break). These board meetings are usually on the last or 2nd last Weds of a month from 5pm-6pm. You may also be invited to participate in one of our sub-committees.
- Participate in occasional training and strategic planning sessions.
- Act as an ambassador for the association and uphold our values.
This is a voluntary (unpaid) position, though reasonable travel and expenses are reimbursed.
