Brilliant Resilience Doorstep Portraits

The Brilliant Resilience project, funded through the Prince’s Countryside Fund, is a celebration of the strength and resilience of Fermanagh residents during the pandemic.  Combining crochet, storytelling and photography, the project focuses on connecting local residents during the pandemic, whilst also sharing the beauty of the Fermanagh countryside through the images and artwork created by those taking part in the project.

During August and September 2021 Rural Housing Association and Community Arts Partnership teamed up with Belfast Exposed to capture over 100 doorstep portraits of local Fermanagh people.  These images capture the hope and resilience found in rural communities across Fermanagh and featured as part of a public exhibition held at Fermanagh House in September 2021.
